When dealing with red wine stains on yoga pants, also known as stretchy or synthetic fabrics, it's important to treat them promptly. The longer the stain sits, more entrenched it can become and therefore, the harder it is to remove.

What You'll Need:

  • White vinegar
  • Cold water
  • A spray bottle
  • A clean cloth

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Create a 50/50 white vinegar and cold water solution in a spray bottle.
  2. Spray the solution onto the stain.
  3. Allow the mixture to sit for about ten minutes.
  4. Gently dab the solution onto the stain with a clean cloth.
  5. Repeat this process until the stain has been removed.
  6. Once the stain is gone, rinse the remaining vinegar solution off with cold water.
  7. Allow the yoga pants to air dry.

If the above process doesn't work, you may need to use a stronger cleaning solution such as a commercial cleaner or an oxygen-based cleaner. Make sure to always follow the directions on the packaging and to test on a small area of fabric before applying it to the entire garment.

To prevent red wine stains from occurring in the future, make sure to blot any spills as soon as possible with a clean cloth. Also, avoid wearing light colors when drinking red wine.
