What You Will Need:

  • White vinegar
  • Cold water
  • Small bowl or container
  • Old toothbrush
  • Towel

Steps for Removing the Stain:

  1. Mix equal parts white vinegar and cold water in a small bowl or container.
  2. Dip an old toothbrush into the mixture and gently scrub the affected area.
  3. Allow the vinegar and water mixture to sit on the stain for several minutes.
  4. Rinse the tie with cold water to remove the vinegar and water mixture and any remaining stain.
  5. If any traces of stain remain, repeat steps 2-4.
  6. Pat the tie dry with a towel.

With these simple steps, you can easily get rid of red wine stains from your white tie. It may take a few attempts, but eventually, you will be able to restore your tie back to its original state.
