What You Will Need:
- White vinegar
- Cold water
- Small bowl or container
- Old toothbrush
- Towel
Steps for Removing the Stain:
- Mix equal parts white vinegar and cold water in a small bowl or container.
- Dip an old toothbrush into the mixture and gently scrub the affected area.
- Allow the vinegar and water mixture to sit on the stain for several minutes.
- Rinse the tie with cold water to remove the vinegar and water mixture and any remaining stain.
- If any traces of stain remain, repeat steps 2-4.
- Pat the tie dry with a towel.
With these simple steps, you can easily get rid of red wine stains from your white tie. It may take a few attempts, but eventually, you will be able to restore your tie back to its original state.
