Managing a stain on your vans takes time and patience. Before you start, it is best to know what type of material your vans are made of so that you can use the correct cleaning solution. If you don't know, check label on your vans for care instructions.

Step 1: Blot the Stain

As soon as you see the stain, grab a clean cloth or paper towel and press down on the wet spot. This will help to absorb the liquid. Make sure not to rub; that will only spread the stain to other areas and potentially damage fabric.

Step 2: Apply Cleaning Solution

For synthetic fabrics, mix one teaspoon of laundry detergent with a cup of warm water. Alternatively, you can use a store-bought spot cleaner. Put a few pumps or squirts of solution into a clean cloth and gently blot the stain until the spots begin to lighten.

Step 3: Rinse and Dry

Wet a separate cloth with warm water and gently blot the stained area. Allow the surface to air dry or use a hairdryer to speed up the process.
