One of the simplest and most effective ways to remove a wine stain from Under Armour fabric is to use rubbing alcohol. To begin, dilute the rubbing alcohol with water until it's approximately a 50/50 mix. Soak a cotton ball or cloth in solution, and then gently dab the stain. Be sure to keep the stain moist while dabbing, and don’t rub too hard as the fabric may tear or fray. Once the stain begins to lighten, rinse the clothing in cold water and let it air dry.
If the rubbing alcohol method doesn’t work, vinegar and baking soda might do the trick. Mix equal parts of vinegar and baking soda together to create a paste-like consistency. Apply the paste directly to the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes before washing. Then, launder garment in cold water and hang it to dry.
Lemon juice and salt are natural ingredients that can also help to remove wine stains from Under Armour fabrics. Add a tablespoon of salt to a bowl of lemon juice and stir to combine. Soak a cloth in the mixture and then gently blot the stain until it lightens. Rinse the item in cold water and let it air dry.
If all else fails, a detergent and ammonia solution might just do the trick. Begin by mixing 1 cup of detergent with 1 cup of ammonia in a bucket of warm water. Soak garment in the solution for at least 1 hour and then rinse it in cold water. Hang the clothing to air dry and then check it to see if the stain is gone.
