How To Easily Remove Wine Stains From Your T-Shirt

Wine stains have a way of appearing out of nowhere when we least expect them. Whether it is your own glass tipping over, or a clumsy guest at a party, the end result is a stain that may appear difficult to remove. But don't fret, as with the right approach, a few ingredients, and a bit of elbow grease, you can easily get your favorite T-shirt as good as new again!

What You'll Need

  • A bucket
  • Cold water
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • A bar of laundry detergent
  • A soft scrub brush

Removing the Stain

  1. Fill the bucket with cold water and add a 1/4 cup of white vinegar.
  2. Mix a paste with baking soda and a splash of water in a bowl.
  3. Using the soft scrub brush, apply the paste to the stained area of the T-shirt.
  4. Leave the paste on the stain for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the paste by scrubbing the stain. Rinse the T-shirt with cold water.
  6. Fill bucket with cold water and add a bar of laundry detergent.
  7. Leave the T-shirt in the bucket for two hours.
  8. Remove the T-shirt from the bucket and rinse with cold water.
