- First, use a paper towel or rag to absorb as much of the wine as possible. Be sure to use gentle pressure and blot the area, do not rub.
- If the stain persists, use a mixture of detergent, white vinegar, and warm water and dab the area with a damp cloth.
- Allow the area to air dry for 20 minutes.
- Once area is dry, spray it with hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for another 10-15 minutes.
- Finally, rinse the area with cold water and let it air dry.
