What You Need
- Oxygen-based bleach
- White vinegar
- Stain remover (optional)
- Cold water
- A bucket or sink
- Organic cloth/towel
Step by Step Instructions
Saturate the Stain
Begin by saturating the area of the stain with cold-water. Gently rub the stain between your fingers to ensure that it is well saturated. If the stain is particularly stubborn, you can add a bit of stain remover to the fabric before saturating.
Bleach
In a bucket or sink, mix equal parts oxygen-based bleach and white vinegar. Place the garment into the mixture and leave it to soak for up to 30 minutes. The oxygen bleach should help to break down the stain molecules.
Rinse and Dry
Once the item is finished soaking, rinse the garment thoroughly with cold water. Then hang the item up to air dry. Once it is completely dry, inspect the area to make sure stain has completely gone.
