Having a glass of wine every once in a while is a great way to relax and enjoy yourself, but it's hard to relax when you accidentally spill some of it on your skirt. While these pesky stains may seem impossible to remove, it’s actually quite easy to do so with the right steps.

Steps To Removing Wine Stains From Skirts

  1. Start by blotting up as much of the excess wine as possible with a paper towel or cloth.
  2. Then, mix some cold water with a mild detergent such as Woolite and dip a clean cloth into solution.
  3. Gently rub the stained area with the damp cloth. Do not scrub, as this could cause more damage to the fabric.
  4. Once you’ve finished rubbing, rinse the spot with cold water.
  5. Allow the skirt to air-dry completely.
  6. If the stain remains, use a white vinegar solution and repeat steps two through four.
  7. If the stain has still not come out, take your skirt to the dry cleaner for professional stain removal.

With these simple steps, you can get rid of those unsightly wine stains from your skirt. Just remember to act fast, as the sooner you treat the stain, easier it will be to remove.
