When dealing with a wine stain on silk gazar, it’s important to act quickly. Grab a towel and gently blot the stained area to soak up any excess moisture. Be sure to use light pressure, and avoid scrubbing which could damage or spread stain.
In a bowl or spray bottle, mix together 1 cup of clear rubbing alcohol, 1 tablespoon white vinegar and 1 tablespoon dish washing liquid. Give the mixture a stir until all ingredients are combined.
Before using the solution on the stain, it’s important that you test an inconspicuous part of the garment, such as inside a seam. Spray or pour cleaning solution onto the stained area, then use a spoon to gently brush the fabric in a circular motion. Blot the area with a clean white cloth, then repeat until the stain is gone. Rinse the area with cold water, then lay flat on a towel to dry.
