Using a white cloth, gently blot up as much of the wine as possible. Do not rub or scrub the area, as this could damage fabric.
Mix one part hydrogen peroxide with three parts cold water. Dab the mixture onto the stained area using a white cloth, making sure not to saturate the fabric.
Mix one teaspoon of liquid detergent and one tablespoon of salt in one quart of cold water. Gently dab mixture onto stained area with a white cloth.
Rinse the affected area with cold water and blot away any excess moisture.
Lay the garment flat on an absorbent surface and allow it to air dry.
