The key to removing a wine stain is to act quickly. The sooner you tackle the stain, the more likely it is that you'll be able to get rid of it. To start, blot the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel. Don't rub or scrub the stain, as this could damage the fabric.

Once you've blotted wine stain, you can try using a stain remover or one of these household ingredients:

  • White vinegar
  • Dish soap
  • Baking soda

Try one of these methods for removing the wine stain:

  1. Mix 1 teaspoon of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon of dish soap in 1 cup of warm water. Soak the stained area in the solution for 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
  2. Make a paste of 2 parts baking soda and 1 part water. Apply the paste to the stain and leave it on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
  3. If the stain is still visible, repeat steps 1 or 2 until it's gone.

Once the stain has been removed, launder the garment as usual. If any traces of stain remain, pretreat area with a stain remover before washing.
