Removing Wine Stains From a Scarf
- Mix 1 tablespoon of dish-washing liquid and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with 2 cups of warm water in a small bowl or cup.
- Soak a clean, white cloth in the solution and gently press it into the stain, blotting it and not rubbing it.
- Continue blotting the stained area until the wine stain disappears.
- Once the stain is gone, rinse area with warm water.
- Repeat steps 1-4 until the wine stain is completely gone.
- If the stain remains, repeat steps 1-4 with a solution of 1/4 teaspoon of biological washing powder and 1/4 teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent in 1 cup of warm water.
- Once the stain is gone, wash the scarf according to the instructions provided on care label.
