Step 1- Quick Blotting on Both Sides of Stain

This step is imperative for removing any residual liquid. Take a piece of white cotton cloth and sponge up liquid quickly. Turn clothing around and use dry cloth on other side. This helps draw out the stain from both sides of the fabric.

Step 2- Treat the Stain with a Clean Cloth and Detergent

Use a piece of clean cotton cloth to dab affected area with a generous amount of liquid detergent. Take care to avoid scrubbing and keep blotting until no further residue can be seen.

Step 3- Rinse Thoroughly with Water

Once the detergent has been applied and most of the stain has been removed, rinse the affected area with cold water. You may need to repeat this process a few times to ensure that detergent is completely washed away.

Step 4- Blot Dry with a Clean Towel

After the stain has been removed, gently blot the area dry with a soft towel. Take care to avoid rubbing or scrubbing the fabric too hard as this could cause damage.

Step 5- Spot Clean with Some Vinegar and Warm Water

In order to get rid of any remaining stubborn stains, mix equal parts of vinegar and warm water in a bowl and spot clean the affected area. Leave it to sit for a few minutes and then rinse it with cold water. Blot dry with a clean towel and let the fabric air dry before wearing it.
