Method 1: Use a Detergent Solution

The most effective way to remove wine stains from your one-piece swimsuit is by using a detergent solution. Create a mix of one tablespoon of laundry detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar. Then, add two cups of warm water. Soak the stained area in this mixture for about 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water. Finally, wash the swimsuit in your regular washing machine.

Method 2: Soak in a Dishwasher Detergent Solution

Another option to remove wine stains is by creating a dishwasher detergent mix. To do this, add two tablespoons of dishwasher detergent to two cups of warm water. Then, soak stained patch in this mixture for about 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water and wash the swimsuit in the washing machine.

Method 3: Use a Stain Remover

If the above methods don't work, you may need to resort to a more specialized solution. Purchase a stain remover designed for fabrics and follow the instructions on the packaging. Use this solution to pre-treat the stain before washing in washing machine.

Method 4: Use White Wine

Yes, it sounds a bit strange, but white wine can help to remove red wine stains. Pour some white wine directly onto the stained area and wait for a few minutes. The acidity of the white wine should help to break down the red-wine stain. After that, simply rinse with cold water and wash swimsuit in the washing machine.
