What You'll Need:

  • Dishwashing liquid
  • White cloth
  • Clean towel
  • Iron
  • Vinegar
  • Salt
  • Borax

Instructions:

  1. Soak the stained area with cold water.
  2. Mix 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid with 4 cups of warm water.
  3. Dip a white cloth in the solution and blot stain lightly.
  4. Rinse with clean water and a cloth.
  5. Lay a clean towel on a flat surface and place the stained area of fabric on the towel.
  6. Set your iron to medium heat and press it against the stain while it is on the towel.
  7. Mix 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and ½ teaspoon of salt in 4 cups of warm water.
  8. Dip a white cloth in the solution and dab stained area.
  9. Rinse with clean water and a cloth again.
  10. Mix 1 tablespoon of borax in 2 cups of warm water.
  11. Wet a clean cloth in the solution and rub it on the stained area.
  12. Rinse with clean water and a cloth one last time.
  13. Let the fabric air dry.
