Using Dish Soap and Water

The easiest way to clean wine stains from your Keds is to start by mixing a small amount of dish detergent with warm water. Submerge a clean cloth in the soapy water and gently dab the stained area with cloth. If the stain is particularly bad, you may need to repeat this process several times before all of the stain is removed.

Using Baking Soda & White Vinegar

If the dish soap and water method isn't doing the trick, you can try using baking soda and white vinegar. Start by making a paste of baking soda and white vinegar and stirring until it forms a thick consistency. Next, apply the paste to stain and let it sit for 5 minutes. Finally, take a damp cloth and wipe away the paste and any remaining stains.

Using Rubbing Alcohol

If all else fails, you can try using rubbing alcohol to remove the wine stain. Simply mix 1 part rubbing alcohol with 3 parts warm water and then dip a lint-free cloth in the mixture. Gently dab the stain with the cloth and then use another dry cloth to blot excess moisture. Repeat as necessary until the stain is gone.

Preventing Future Stains

Once you have successfully removed the wine stain, you'll want to make sure that it doesn't happen again! To ensure that your Keds stay in top condition, you should always try to protect them with a waterproofing spray. These sprays will help to keep moisture out and protect your shoes from future stains.
