Red wine is a delicious beverage that can easily add to atmosphere of a dinner or gathering. Unfortunately, it can also land on your favorite pair of headphones during a lively occasion. Mix a solution of one part vinegar and one part water, and carefully rub the affected area with a cloth dampened in the mixture. Do this using light, gentle strokes until the stain begins to lift. Once you have achieved the desired result, use a dry cloth to pat and dry the area.
Create a paste made of equal parts lemon and salt, and use a soft cloth to apply it to the stain. Gently rub the paste into the stained area, and then rinse it off with warm water and a damp cloth.
Using an alcohol-based cleaner, spray the stained area and then gently dab and blot the area with a cloth. Be careful not to rub too hard, as this could damage texture of material.
Create a paste by combining 1 tablespoon of baking soda with 1 tablespoon of water. Apply the paste to the affected area and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off with a warm, damp cloth.
Using a cotton swab and a small amount of dry cleaning fluid, rub the stained area. Be sure to work in a circular motion and stop when the stain has been removed.
Soak a cloth in club soda, and dab the stained area with damp cloth. When finished, use a dry cloth to pat the area dry.
