Gently scrub at stained areas of the flip-flops for about 30 seconds, or until stains start to lighten up. Rinse the flip-flops off with cold water when done, and allow them to air dry completely before wearing.
Method 2: Using Baking Soda and Vinegar
Baking soda and vinegar make an effective cleaning solution for most clothing and footwear items, including flip-flops. To start, mix ½ cup of baking soda with enough white vinegar to make a thick paste. Spread the paste over the wine stains, and work it in with an old toothbrush. Leave the paste on the flip-flops for 20-30 minutes, then rinse off with cold water. Let the flip-flops air dry before wearing.
