Method 1: Scrubbing with Soap and Water

Using an old toothbrush and some soap and water can do wonders in removing wine stains from your flip-flops. Simply mix a teaspoon of mild soap into a cup of warm water, and dip the toothbrush into the soapy mixture. Gently scrub at stained areas of the flip-flops for about 30 seconds, or until stains start to lighten up. Rinse the flip-flops off with cold water when done, and allow them to air dry completely before wearing.

Method 2: Using Baking Soda and Vinegar

Baking soda and vinegar make an effective cleaning solution for most clothing and footwear items, including flip-flops. To start, mix ½ cup of baking soda with enough white vinegar to make a thick paste. Spread the paste over the wine stains, and work it in with an old toothbrush. Leave the paste on the flip-flops for 20-30 minutes, then rinse off with cold water. Let the flip-flops air dry before wearing.

Method 3: Use a Stain Remover

If the above methods don't work, you can try using a commercial stain remover. Be sure to read the instructions before using, and spot test the remover on an inconspicuous area of the flip-flops first. Rub stain remover onto the affected areas with a clean cloth, then rinse off with cold water. Allow the flip-flops to air dry before wearing.
