Using Vinegar and Baking Soda

Mix together one part each of white vinegar and baking soda to make a paste. Cover the stain with the paste then allow it to sit on the cutting board for 15 minutes.

Once the time has elapsed, use a damp cloth to scrub away the paste. If needed, you may need to add a few drops of dish soap to the damp cloth to help remove the paste. Rinse the cutting board thoroughly with water.

Using Hydrogen Peroxide

Soak a piece of clean fabric in three percent hydrogen peroxide and lay it over the stain. Allow the hydrogen peroxide to soak into the cutting board until the stain is completely gone. Once the stain is removed, rinse the cutting board with warm water.

Using Lemons

Slice up a lemon, or squeeze it to extract out the juice. Dip a cloth or sponge into the lemon juice and dab the stain.

Allow the lemon juice to sit on stain for several minutes before rinsing the cutting board with warm water. You can also sprinkle an absorbent material such as salt, baking soda, or flour onto the stain. Rub the material into the stain and let it sit for several minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

If any of above methods don't work, you may need to use a commercial product designed for removing red wine stains. Be sure to read the instructions provided with the product before applying it.
