- Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with 2 tablespoons of cold water to make a paste. Apply the paste to the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Rinse the area with cold water and blot dry with a clean cloth.
- If the stain remains, apply laundry detergent directly to the stain and rub gently with a soft cloth. Let detergent sit for 5 minutes.
- Rinse the area with cold water and blot dry again.
- If the stain still persists, dampen a dryer sheet with water and rub it over the stained area. Let it sit for 10 minutes before rinsing with cold water and blotting dry.
