How to Get Rid of Stubborn Wine Stains on Cargo Pants

• Cold water
• Dishwashing liquid
• Salt
• White vinegar
• Baking soda
• Hydrogen peroxide

Step by Step Instructions

1. Blot any excess wine with a clean cloth or paper towel. Do not rub stain as this will spread it further.
2. Mix one tablespoon of dishwashing liquid and two cups of cold water in a bowl. Soak the stained area in mixture and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
3. After soaking, squirt a few drops of dishwashing liquid directly onto the stain and rub it in gently.
4. Rinse the pants in cold water and check for any remaining stain. If it persists, blot the area with a cloth dampened with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and cold water.
5. If the stain still remains, mix equal parts salt and cold water in a bowl and submerge the stained area. Let it soak for 30 minutes and then rinse it in cold water.
6. If the stain still remains, sprinkle some baking soda over the stain and pour hydrogen peroxide over it so that it forms a paste. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then rinse it with cold water.
7. Now launder the pants according to instructions on the care label.
