If you just spilled red wine on your camisole, the first thing that you should do is act fast! Blot the area with a clean cloth and dab it with cold water to prevent the stain from setting in. You don’t want to rub or scrub area, as this could cause the stain to spread and become harder to remove.

If the stain is still there after blotting, use a mild detergent mixed with cold water to create a cleaning solution. Dip a soft-bristled brush into the detergent and start to gently scrub the stained area in circles. Afterward, rinse the area with cold water, and then use a towel to dry the area.

White wine can help! Just pour some white wine over the stain and allow it to soak before rinsing with water and then drying with a clean cloth. The alcohol in the white wine helps break up the stain and makes it easier to remove.

If you don’t have any white wine handy, club soda works too. Simply pour the soda over the stain and let it sit for 15-20 minutes before blotting the area with a cloth.

For tough stains that won't budge, try using a mixture of baking soda and white vinegar. Mix the two ingredients together to create a thick paste and apply it to the stain. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then wipe it off with a damp cloth.

Finally, if all else fails, take your camisole to a professional dry cleaner and they can help get that pesky red wine stain out!
