Removing Wine Stains from Your Boots: What You'll Need

  • Leather Conditioner
  • A cloth
  • A towel
  • A brush

Step 1: Blot the Stain with a Damp Cloth

Use a damp cloth to absorb as much of the wine stain as possible. Do not rub or scrub, as this could cause further damage to the leather.

Step 2: Apply Leather Conditioner

In a circular motion, apply a small amount of leather conditioner to the area. This will help to penetrate the stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 3: Leave to Dry

Let the conditioner sit on the stain for 10-15 minutes until it has had a chance to soak into leather.

Step 4: Use a Brush to Scrub the Stain

Take a soft brush and gently scrub the area. This will help to loosen the stain and lift it up from material.

Step 5: Wipe with a Clean Towel

Once stain has been removed, use a clean towel to wipe area. This will help to remove any remaining residue and restore the leather back to its original condition.

Step 6: Reapply Leather Conditioner

Once the area is completely dry, apply a small amount of leather conditioner to area. This will help to protect the leather and prevent future stains.
