Steps for Removing Red Wine Stains from Hair Barrettes
- Start by rinsing off hair accessory with cold water. This should help dilute the stain.
- Gently rub a mild detergent or soap over the stain. This can help to loosen stain and make it easier to remove.
- Rinse barrette off with cold water again.
- Next, dip a soft cloth into a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and cold water.
- Dab the stained area gently with cloth until stain disappears.
- If the stain persists, use a bit of baking soda mixed with water to form a paste. Gently rub this over stain, then rinse it off with cold water.
