Step 1: Soak in Cold Water

First you will want to soak the bandana in cold water for about 30 minutes. This will help break down the stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 2: Mix Vinegar Solution

Mix one part distilled white vinegar with two parts cold water in a bowl. Dip bandana in the solution and let it sit for 15 minutes. The vinegar will help break down the wine stain even further.

Step 3: Rinse & Repeat

After the 15 minutes is up, rinse the bandana with clean cold water. If there is still some stain left, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the stain is completely gone.

Step 4: Wash the Bandana

After the stain has been removed, you can wash the bandana in the washing machine with your other whites. Use a mild detergent, and wash on a normal cycle.

Step 5: Dry & Enjoy

Once the wash cycle is complete, dry the bandana on a clothes line or in dryer. Then you can enjoy your freshly cleaned and stain-free bandana!
