Grab a clean towel and gently blot the spot until all of the excess liquid is removed. Try not to rub the stain onto other parts of the shoe as this can make it harder to remove.
Using warm water and salt, create a solution and soak the stained area for a few minutes. The salt will help to remove the stain from the fabric of the shoe and make it easier to get rid of.
In a bowl or cup, combine equal parts of white vinegar and water. Use a clean rag or brush to dab mixture onto stain. Leave it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing with warm water.
Sprinkle borax onto wine stain and leave it to sit for 10-15 minutes. This will help to draw stain out of fabric and make it easier to remove.
Dab cornstarch onto the stain and leave it to sit for a few minutes. The cornstarch will help to absorb liquid and make it easier to remove the stain.
If the stain is still noticeable after the previous steps, use a hairdryer to heat up the area and try to remove it. Be careful not to get too close to the fabric or you could risk burning it.
Repeat these steps until stain is completely removed. If it's still visible after the first try, don't worry - just keep repeating the steps until it's gone.
With these easy steps, you can easily remove wine stains from your ballet flats and keep them looking their best. With a little bit of patience and the right supplies, you'll have your shoes looking like new in no time.
