The first step when it comes to cleaning wine stains off a baking dish is to pre-treat the area by wetting it with a few drops of cold water. This will help to loosen up the stain before you move on to the next step in the cleaning process.

Next, create a paste of baking soda and white vinegar. Use a generous amount of baking soda and add just enough white vinegar to make it into a thick paste. Spread paste onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes before scrubbing it off with a soft cloth or brush.

You can also try using salt to help dissolve the stain. Sprinkle it onto wine stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Once finished, wipe away the salt with a damp cloth and rinse stain with warm water.

If the stain persists after these methods, you could try using a mild detergent to help break down the rest of the wine. Gently rub the detergent in a circular motion onto the affected area before rinsing with warm water. Make sure to check if the stain has come out before putting baking dish in the dishwasher.

Finally, you can use a specialized cleaner meant for stubborn stains. Apply cleaner according to the instructions on the package and then rinse it off with warm water. If the stain is still present, repeat process until it is fully removed.
