There are a few different methods you can use to get wine stains out of your ASICS shoes. Depending on the material of the shoe, one might work better than the other. Here are the three most common methods to try:

  • Dish Soap: Place a few drops of dish soap in a cup and mix with warm water. Apply mixture to the wine stain and allow it to sit for 10 minutes. Gently scrub the area with a soft-bristle brush to remove stain. Rinse the area with warm water and dry with a clean, soft cloth.
  • White Vinegar: Soak a cloth in white vinegar and lay it over the wine stain. Allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes. Rub the area gently with a soft-bristle brush and rinse with warm water. Dry with a clean, soft cloth.
  • Shaving Cream: Apply a generous amount of shaving cream over the wine stain. Allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes. Gently scrub the area with a soft-bristle brush and rinse with warm water. Dry with a clean, soft cloth.

No matter the method you choose, be sure to test it on an inconspicuous area on your shoes before tackling the stain. This will ensure that the cleaning method doesn’t damage the fabric of your shoes.

Once you’ve successfully removed the wine stain, it’s important to make sure the area is completely dry before wearing them again. If it’s still wet, stain may return when your shoes come into contact with moisture.

Following these steps should help you easily remove any wine stains from your ASICS shoes. For best results, act quickly and don’t let the stain set in!
