If you love your outdoor yoga sessions, you’ve probably spent some time on a grassy hill or meadow and come away with a few wildflower stains on your favorite yoga pants. Don’t fret – there are a few ways to tackle these stains!

Step 1: Rinse Immediately

The first step to getting rid of wildflower stains on your yoga pants is to rinse them immediately after you spot the stain. Do not wait till you get home – try to find a nearby water source and rinse away the stain. Water should be enough to get rid of most of the stain, so you can move on to the next step.

Step 2: Use Detergent and Rise Again

If plain water doesn’t seem to do the job, it’s time to use a little detergent. Apply a small amount of mild detergent or stain remover onto the stained area and gently rub in a circular motion. Allow the detergent to sit for a few minutes before rinsing off the detergent again. You should see that the stain has lightened quite a bit.

Step 3: Treat with Woolite

For tougher wildflower stains, it’s time to break out woolite. Add a few drops of woolite to a bowl of warm water and stir until combined. Then, dunk your stained yoga pants into the mixture and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Don’t oversoak as this could damage your pants. After a few minutes, take out your pants and rinse off with clean water. The wildflower stain should have faded considerably, although you may need to repeat the process once or twice.

Step 4: Finish with Vinegar and Cold Water Soak

To finish off, make a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and cold water. Dunk your yoga pants into the mixture and let sit for a few minutes. Check for any fading and then rinse your pants with clean water. Air dry in sun if possible – this helps to lighten the stain even further.

And there you have it – four simple steps to getting those wildflower stains out of your yoga pants! Follow these tips and you’ll never have to worry about bringing those pesky stains home from your yoga session ever again.
