Using Household Cleaners

  • Start by pre-treating the stained area with a bit of dish soap , or a detergent specifically designed for stain removal.
  • Next, rinse pre-treated area with cold water , then pour a small amount of ammonia over the stain.
  • Let the ammonia set in, and then use a soft brush to scrub the stain gently.
  • Rinse the item again with cold water, then let it hang-dry.

Using White Vinegar

  • Mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar with 1/2 cup of warm water .
  • Dampen a cloth with the mixture, and wipe over stained area.
  • Allow the vinegar mixture to soak in, then use a soft brush to scrub the stain gently.
  • Rinse the stained area with cold water, then let it hang-dry.

Using Baking Soda Paste

  • Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a few drops of water .
  • Use your fingers or a soft brush to spread the paste over the stain.
  • Let the paste sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with cold water.
  • If necessary, repeat the above steps until stain is gone.
  • Let the item hang-dry.
