Using Household Cleaners
- Start by pre-treating the stained area with a bit of dish soap , or a detergent specifically designed for stain removal.
- Next, rinse pre-treated area with cold water , then pour a small amount of ammonia over the stain.
- Let the ammonia set in, and then use a soft brush to scrub the stain gently.
- Rinse the item again with cold water, then let it hang-dry.
Using White Vinegar
- Mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar with 1/2 cup of warm water .
- Dampen a cloth with the mixture, and wipe over stained area.
- Allow the vinegar mixture to soak in, then use a soft brush to scrub the stain gently.
- Rinse the stained area with cold water, then let it hang-dry.
Using Baking Soda Paste
- Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a few drops of water .
- Use your fingers or a soft brush to spread the paste over the stain.
- Let the paste sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with cold water.
- If necessary, repeat the above steps until stain is gone.
- Let the item hang-dry.
