If you've recently bought some new wedges and want to make sure they stay looking like new, you're probably wondering how to keep them clean. Wildflowers can be a particularly pesky pest when it comes to keeping your shoes looking their best – but luckily, with a few simple steps, you can easily rid your wedges of any unwanted wildflower stains.
What You'll Need
- White vinegar
- Soap and water
- Dry cloth
- Nail polish remover (optional)
Instructions
- Create a mixture of one part white vinegar and one part warm water.
- Dip an old washcloth into the mixture and gently blot stained area.
- If that doesn't work, make a paste of equal parts soap and water, and gently rub the paste onto stained area.
- If that doesn't work either, try a cotton swab and a bit of nail polish remover (non-acetone) on the stain.
- Once the stain is removed, dab area with a dry cloth.
It's important to remember that the sooner you treat stain, the better the results. With these five steps, you'll have your wedges looking like new in no time!
