Start by vacuuming the wallpaper to remove any loose dirt particles and dust. This will help make the cleaning process easier and more efficient.
Mix a mild cleaning solution with warm water in a bucket. Use two tablespoons of detergent for every gallon of water. Make sure to use non-abrasive cleansers so you don't harm the wallpaper.
Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the cleaning solution and squeeze it out. Gently scrub stain on the wallpaper using circular motions. Be careful not to press too hard. Keep at it until the stain starts to disappear.
Once you are done scrubbing wall, rinse off the cleaner with a damp sponge. Make sure you get rid of all traces of the cleaning solution.
Pat the wallpaper with a soft, dry cloth until all the excess moisture is absorbed. Then, open the window and let air flow in to hasten drying process.
