Things You Will Need

  • Mild dish soap
  • White vinegar
  • Cup of warm water
  • Woolen cloth
  • Brush

Step 1: Blot the Stain

Using a clean woolen cloth or paper towels, gently blot the stained area to absorb as much of wildflower juice as possible. Do not rub or scrub the stained area, as this may cause color to spread even further. Repeat this step until no more of the wildflower juice is being absorbed by the cloth.

Step 2: Make a Cleaning Solution

Mix equal parts mild dish soap and white vinegar with a cup of warm water. The solution should be slightly sudsy and slightly acidic. Once you have the cleaning solution ready, use a soft bristle brush to apply it to the stained area.

Step 3: Brush the Stain

Gently brush the stained area in a circular motion. This will help loosen and lift stain out of fabric. Repeat this step until you see the stain lightening.

Step 4: Rinse Fabric

Once you’ve finished brushing the stain, rinse the area with cold water. Use a clean cloth to blot the area until it is damp and free of any soap residue.

Step 5: Let the Fabric Dry

Allow the fabric to air-dry completely and then examine the area for remaining stains. If there are any stubborn stains left behind, repeat steps 1-4 until stain is completely gone.
