Step 1: Quickly Blot Up the Stains

The most important thing is to act quickly when wildflower stains appear on your Vans. Blotting up the excess liquids is key!

Grab several paper towels and start blotting the stain from the outside moving inward. This prevents it from spreading further. Repeat until the stains are absorbed as much as possible.

Step 2: Pre-Treat the Stain

Fill a small container or bowl with a mix of three parts cold water and one part liquid dish soap. Dip a white cloth into soapy water and wring it out. Then, dab the stain gently with cloth.

Allow the solution to sit on the stain for a few minutes before blotting it up and repeating the process.

Step 3: Wash the Vans in a Washing Machine

Set the machine’s cycle to the gentle cycle and add mildest detergent. Toss in the Vans and wash according to the washing instructions on tag.

When cycle is complete, immediately remove the shoes. Allow them to air-dry, preferably in direct sunlight.
