When summer hits, many of us head outside to enjoy the warmth, beauty, and fresh scent of wildflowers. Unfortunately, these pretty petals sometimes come with a hidden hazard—stains! Wildflower stains can be especially difficult to remove from your Under Armour clothing because of their waxy nature.

To help you tackle those annoying wildflower stains, here is a list of easy tips that you can use. With these tips, you may just be able to save your clothes from permanent discoloration—and keep enjoying the beauty of those wildflowers, too.

1. Blot, Don't Rub

When you notice that your favorite Under Armour outfit has been ambushed by a wildflower stain, act fast! Start by blotting the affected area with a clean white cloth or paper towel. You don't want to rub the stain as this could spread it and make it worse.

2. Put Some Detergent On It

Once you've absorbed as much of the wildflower juice as possible, treat the stained area with a bit of laundry detergent or pre-wash spray. Let the detergent sit for about 10 minutes before washing your item as usual.

3. Soak Away the Stain

If the stain still won't budge, you may need to soak your garment in a mild solution of detergent and water before washing. To do this, fill a basin or bucket with enough warm water to cover the garment, add a cup of detergent, and let the item soak for up to an hour before laundering as usual.

4. Avoid Harsh Chemicals

No matter how tempting it may be, it's best to avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia on your Wildflower-stained Under Armour items. Too much of these chemicals can damage fabrics and can even set the stain in place.

5. Give It Some Time

Finally, if your garment looks like it has seen better days, give it some time. Sometimes, when it comes to removing wildflower stains, all you need is a little patience. If you can wait a few weeks, the stain may eventually fade on its own.

With these easy tips, you should have no trouble removing wildflower stains from your Under Armour apparel. Who knows, you may even find yourself inspired by the beauty of wildflowers, and started enjoying them a little more!
