The first step is to pre-treat the stain with a liquid detergent. Gently rub the detergent into the stain using a soft cloth or sponge, then let it sit for a few minutes. This will help break down the stain and make it easier to remove.
Once the stain has been pre-treated, it's time to wash the fabric. Place the fabric in a washing machine and set it to hottest water setting recommended for the fabric. Add a mild liquid detergent to the mix and run the cycle. If possible, hang the fabric outside to dry in the sun for best results.
If the stain still persists after washing, try using a natural stain remover. A popular option is vinegar and baking soda, or a store-bought product specifically designed for removing stains. Apply a generous amount of the cleaner to the stain and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then wash and rinse the fabric one more time as normal.
Wildflower stains can be stubborn and difficult to remove, but this three-step method should help tackle them quickly and effectively. Pre-treating the stain with liquid detergent, washing in hot water, and using a natural stain remover can all help get rid of stubborn wildflower stains on twill fabric.
