Getting WildFlower Stains Out of Your Favorite Neck Ties

It's common knowledge that if you accidentally get something on your clothing while out in nature, chances are it will be harder to remove than usual. Wildflowers can leave particularly stubborn stains on neck ties, but with the right cleaning method, you can easily remove them. The following tips will help you make sure your ties look clean and presentable.
Supplies You'll Need
- A mild detergent or soap
- Bowl of lukewarm water
- Soft cloth or sponge
- White vinegar or lemon juice
Instructions for Removal
- Mix a few drops of liquid soap with lukewarm water in a bowl and stir until completely combined. Dip the cloth or sponge into the soap mixture and gently wipe away the Wildflower stain.
- If the stain persists, mix two parts white vinegar to one part water and dab the stain with a cloth soaked in the solution. Then rinse with clean water and let dry.
- If the stain is still visible, moisten a cloth with lemon juice and dab it onto the affected area. Let sit for a few minutes, then rinse with water and allow tie to air dry.
Additional Tips and Warnings
- Be sure to test any cleaning solutions on a small, hidden area of the tie before applying it to Wildflower stain, as some fabrics can react badly.
- Do not use bleach or harsh detergents to clean your tie.
