The sooner you act, the better. The longer stain sits on your fabric, the harder it will be to remove later. As soon as you realize you have a wildflower stain on your sleep shirt, work quickly to get rid of it.
Pour a generous amount of liquid laundry detergent directly onto the stain. Allow the detergent to sit for at least 15 minutes, then gently rub and scrub away the stain using a clean, soft-bristled brush. Avoid using stiff-bristled brushes or rough materials, as this can damage the fabric.
Fill a clean sink or bucket with cool water and add a capful of liquid laundry detergent. Submerge the affected area and allow it to soak for at least an hour. This process will help loosen the stain, making it easier to remove.
Throw the shirt in the washing machine, making sure to select a cold cycle. Add a capful of liquid laundry detergent to the load and wash with other similarly-colored items to avoid discoloration. If you still see traces of the stain after washing, don't put the shirt in the dryer yet. Instead, repeat Steps 2 through 4 until the stain is completely gone.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
