Wildflower stains have a way of getting onto clothes. Thankfully, there is a way to remove these tough stains from your sleep pants. Here’s the step-by-step guide to help you get rid of wildflower stains from your sleep pants.
The first step to remove a wildflower stain from your sleep pants is to rinse it with cold water. This will help remove some of the excess pigment and prevent it from spreading any further. Soak the stained area in cold water for about 10 minutes.
Create a mixture of detergent and water to help lift the stain out of the fabric. Make sure to use an enzyme-based detergent as these are the most effective at breaking down the stubborn wildflower stains. Add 4 tablespoons of detergent to 1 gallon of warm water and mix it together.
Dip a soft cloth into the cleaning solution and dab at the stained area. Do not rub fabric—just dab at it lightly to avoid damaging the sleep pants. Let the cleaning solution sit for about 10 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.
To completely remove the wildflower stain from your sleep pants, toss them in the washing machine with a load of whites. Set machine to the gentle cycle and add ½ cup of chlorine bleach to the load. Once the load is finished, check the pants to make sure the stain has been removed. If not, repeat process until the stain is gone.
Once the wildflower stain has been removed, hang your sleep pants up to dry. Do not place them in the dryer as the heat could cause the stain to set in and be near-impossible to remove.
Follow these simple tips and you’ll never have to worry about wildflower stains on your sleep pants again!
