Wildflower stains are often composed of natural compounds that are difficult to remove using common laundry detergents. It is important to remove the stain quickly, as the longer the stain sits, the harder it will be to fully remove.
Mix one part mild laundry detergent with four parts warm water in a bowl. Dip a soft bristled brush or toothbrush into the soapy solution and gently scrub the stained area. Rinse the area with a wet cloth and cold water.
If the stain is still visible, fill a bowl with two parts warm water and one part white vinegar. Soak stained area in the solution for 15-30 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
Launder the fabric as usual following the care instructions on the label. Be sure to use mild detergent and the warmest water temperature recommended for the fabric.
If the stain is still visible after washing, repeat the steps above until the stain is removed.
