How to Clean Wildflower Stains from Shearling
- Grab your damp cloth, and as gently as possible, dab at the stains. This will help to dislodge flower pollen embedded in fabric.
- Create a cleaning solution by mixing one teaspoon of mild laundry detergent with two cups of warm water. Dip cloth into the solution and blot the area again.
- Once you have blotted the stained area with your cloth and detergent, apply a mixture of 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 1 cup of warm water to the affected area. Blot with a clean cloth until the stain is gone.
- To finish off, combine 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice to create a paste. Rub paste over the stained area and blot with a dry cloth. Repeat three or four times until the stain has completely disappeared.
