Begin by laying your scarf on a clean flat surface. Next, gently brush it to remove any loose dirt or petals. Place a clean cloth or paper towel under the stained area of the scarf in order to collect any residue.
Make a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water. Test a small area of the scarf to make sure this solution does not damage the fabric. If it does not, use a clean, white cloth to dab the stain with vinegar-water solution, then rinse scarf in cool water.
If the stain persists, try applying a tailored stain remover. Look for one that is designed for delicate fabrics or wildflower removal. Follow instructions on product carefully and be sure to rinse the scarf thoroughly afterwards.
Place the scarf in a mesh laundry bag and wash according to the instructions on the fabric. Consider using a gentle cycle and cold water. Once the scarf has finished washing, hang it up to dry. Don't forget to check the scarf carefully once it is dry to ensure the stain has been completely removed.
