- If the stain still won’t come out, try soaking area in warm water for about 30 minutes.
- Once the stain has been pre-treated, put raincoat in washing machine using a gentle cycle and warm water. Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the wash cycle to help break down the stain.
- When the cycle is over, take the raincoat out and inspect the area. If the stain is still there, try repeating the steps.
- Once the stain is completely gone, wash the raincoat one more time using mild detergent and only cold water.
- Hang the raincoat up to dry, and don’t put it in the dryer.
