What You'll Need

  • Laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • A soft-bristled brush
  • Borax
  • A clean white cloth

Step 1: Pre-treat the Stain

To pre-treat stain, start by mixing equal parts laundry detergent and white vinegar in a bowl. Dip soft bristled brush into the solution and use it to scrub the stained area. Be sure to scrub gently so as not to damage fabric.

Step 2: Soak the Stain

Now it's time to give the stain a good soak. Fill up a bucket with enough warm water to cover stained area. Add two tablespoons of Borax to the water, mix it in until it is completely dissolved. Soak the stained area in the solution for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse Stain

Once the stain has had time to soak, remove it from the solution. Cup your hand and use it to gently wring out the excess water. Next, rinse the stained area with cold water.

Step 4: Dry the Stain

Once the stain has been sufficiently rinsed, its time to dry the fabric. Place a clean white cloth underneath the garment, then lay the garment on top. Use a clean paper towel to blot away any remaining moisture. Finally, hang the garment in a well-ventilated area to air-dry.

Conclusion

Wildflower stains can be quite difficult to remove, but when you're armed with the right knowledge and supplies, they don't stand a chance! Follow the steps outlined above to easily remove wildflower stains from Paul Smith garments.
