  • Soft cloths or sponges
  • Baking soda (optional)

Steps to Clean Wildflower Stains From Parka

  1. Gently blot the area with a soft cloth or sponge to lift off any excess flower matter. Do not rub the material as this will only work the material in deeper.
  2. Soak an old soft cloth or sponge in cold water and use it to dampen the stained area. Do not use hot water as this could set the stain.
  3. Once the area is dampened, pour on a generous amount of white vinegar, allowing it to saturate stained area.
  4. Using a soft cloth or sponge, gently scrub the area with a mixture of dish soap and cold water. Make sure to rinse off frequently to remove any soap residue.
  5. Once the stain is gone, gently rinse the area with cold water and pat dry with a clean cloth. If the area has a lingering smell, sprinkle some baking soda onto the area, let sit for 10 minutes, then vacuum up.
