You'll needsome supplies before you get started. These include laundry pretreatment spray or paste, laundry detergent, a cleaning cloth or scrub brush, white vinegar, and a dry cleaning solvent.
Spray or dab a pretreatment product on the stained area of your outerwear. This can help break up the stain and make it easier to remove. Leave the paste or spray on for a few minutes before continuing.
Using a clean cloth or scrub brush, work in a detergent or other cleaning solution on stain. Scrub gently to work the product into the fabric. Continue this process until the stain is decreased in size or has vanished completely.
Rinse the fabric thoroughly with cold water. Don't use hot water, as this could set the stain. Do not put it in the washing machine yet; you'll want to make sure all of cleaning products have been erased before putting the garment into the washer.
If any of the stain remains, try using white vinegar. Apply to the stain directly and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then, rinse it off with cold water. You may need to repeat this process a few times until the stain is gone.
If the stain is still stubborn, use a dry cleaning solvent. Apply it directly to the stain and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Scrub the fabric gently and then rinse with cold water.
Once you have successfully removed the stain, launder the garment normally, following the manufacturer's instructions. Once dry, your garment should look like new again!
