What You Will Need
- warm water
- paper towels
- washing detergent
- ammonia
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Using a paper towel, blot away excess wildflower stain.
- Mix a solution of warm water and washing detergent.
- Dampen the affected area with the solution.
- Blot the area, moving outward from the center, to absorb the stain and solution.
- Mix a solution of one part ammonia and four parts warm water.
- Dampen the area with the new solution and let it sit for five minutes.
- Rinse area with warm water and blot dry.
- Repeat steps 5–7 until the stain is removed.
Additional Tips
- Be sure to apply pre-wash stain remover before laundering the fabric.
- For stubborn stains, use a medium-bristle brush to work the stain remover into the fabric in a circular motion.
- When laundering, be sure to select the lowest temperature setting and use a gentle cycle.
