What You'll Need

  • White vinegar
  • Liquid detergent
  • Old toothbrush
  • Clean cloths

Instructions

  1. Mix together equal parts liquid detergent and white vinegar in a bowl. The mixture should be thick enough to spread on stained fabric.
  2. Using an old toothbrush, work the paste into stained area.
  3. Allow paste to sit for 15 minutes.
  4. Rinse the paste off the fabric with lukewarm water.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 until the stain is removed.
  6. Rinse the affected area with cold water and blot with a clean cloth.
  7. Allow the garment to air dry.

Additional Tips

  • Do not use hot water as it can set wildflower stains.
  • Always test a small area of the fabric first to make sure there is no discoloration.
  • For tough stains, a stronger solution can be used by increasing the ratio of vinegar to liquid detergent.
