What You'll Need
- White vinegar
- Liquid detergent
- Old toothbrush
- Clean cloths
Instructions
- Mix together equal parts liquid detergent and white vinegar in a bowl. The mixture should be thick enough to spread on stained fabric.
- Using an old toothbrush, work the paste into stained area.
- Allow paste to sit for 15 minutes.
- Rinse the paste off the fabric with lukewarm water.
- Repeat steps 1-4 until the stain is removed.
- Rinse the affected area with cold water and blot with a clean cloth.
- Allow the garment to air dry.
Additional Tips
- Do not use hot water as it can set wildflower stains.
- Always test a small area of the fabric first to make sure there is no discoloration.
- For tough stains, a stronger solution can be used by increasing the ratio of vinegar to liquid detergent.
