Step 1: Soak

Fill a sink or bucket with warm water, and add a dash of laundry detergent for extra cleaning power. Next, submerge the stained hat in the water and let it soak for at least 15 minutes.

Step 2: Scrub

After the hat has had its time to soak, remove it from the soapy water and allow it to dry naturally. Once completely dry, use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub away the stain. Make sure to apply light pressure so as not to damage material.

Step 3: Rinse

Once you’re satisfied that the stain is gone, rinse the hat in cool water to remove any suds. When complete, hang the hat in a well-ventilated area to air dry.

Step 4: Repeat

If stubborn stains remain, you may need to repeat the above steps a few times until the stain is fully removed.
