Wildflowers are beautiful, but their bright colors can quickly become a nightmare for furniture owners. Using White Vinegar and Water

The first and easiest way to get rid of wildflower stains is a mixture of white vinegar and water. Mix one part white vinegar with two parts warm water in a spray bottle and shake to combine. Spray mixture onto the affected area, being sure to use enough to saturate stain. Allow mixture to sit for a few minutes before blotting it up with a clean cloth.

Using Alcohol and Water

If the white vinegar and water solution does not work, the next step is to try a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Mix equal parts alcohol and water in a spray bottle and shake to combine. Spray the mixture onto the area, once again using enough to saturate stain. Use a clean cloth to blot up the mixture and repeat if necessary.

Cleaning Wood Surfaces

Wood surfaces can be a bit more challenging to work with when it comes to wildflower stains. For this, you’ll need a few supplies: a soft-bristled brush, a soft cloth, denatured alcohol, and wood cleaner. Start by brushing away any dirt or debris from the area with the soft-bristled brush. Then, use clean cloth moistened with denatured alcohol to remove the stain. Be sure to blot the area instead of wiping it, as wiping can cause streaking. Finally, use a wood cleaner to restore the finish on the surface.
